~ music that contributes to a better world, each time you press play ~
Givesom Music is both a record label and a charity project. Each time you listen to one of the artists of Givesom Music you contribute to charity. In a way like Musikhjälpen, but constantly and all year round. Givesom is a charity project that aims to engage young people in social matters, mainly through working with engaging campaigns via social media.
The funds that are collected go to several established, non-profit organizations. As a company or private person you can choose which social matter you want to support, and Givesom distribute the funds to the relevant organizations. Givesom Music is a collaboration between BMG Chrysalis and Givesom. Artists that sign under the label agree to give 25% of the profits directly to charity.
Givesom is a new online service that makes charity donations easier and more accessible to young people all over the world. The new service provides a modern concept based on the idea that small donations in larger numbers really can make a big difference. Just donate a small monthly amount, choose what charity causes you would like to support and spread the word to get more people involved.

In addition, if you use the Service while you are outside of the EEA, your personal data may be transferred outside of the EEA in order to provide you with the Service. If we transfer your personal data outside of the EEA, we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal data is treated securely and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to such transfer for the purposes set out in these Terms and Conditions.

These terms set out the conditions for Donors’ use of the Service, including all of its features (the "Terms and Conditions"). By checking the box "I accept the terms and conditions" you will become a Donor and simultaneously agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions when using the Service.
Givesom reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice to the Donor. The Donor is therefore recommended to review the Terms and Conditions regularly. By continuing to use the Service, the Donor will be deemed to have accepted such amendments. Should the Terms and Conditions be amended in a way that would involve price changes or changes to the way we process your personal data, we will obtain your consent prior to implementing such changes.
Givesom AB, reg. No. 556975-1588, a company incorporated under the laws of Sweden, ("Givesom") provides an Internet-based service for charitable donations (the “Service"). Individuals who register with Givesom ("Donors") may enter into an agreement with Givesom for monthly donations to one of Givesom’s set range of charity organisations (the "Organisation/s"). Givesom has selected a number of Organisations and has divided them by interests. By way of example, if you want to donate to children’s interests you have the opportunity to donate to the group of Organisations that represents this interest. Your donation will go to the Organisations’ general businesses and not to any specific projects. The Organisations will themselves decide for what cause they will use the donations. Initially, the donations will only go to the Organisations’ Swedish companies or operations but may eventually also go to the Organisations’ international companies or businesses.
Givesom reserves the right to make changes to the Service in respect of the Organisations with which we co-operate.
By clicking on "Givesom with Stripe" and by providing your e-mail address and your credit card details, and by accepting these Terms and Conditions, you register for the Service and thus become a Donor. You must be at least eighteen years old to use the Service. The Donor is responsible for ensuring that no third party has access to the credit card details used for payment and that the Service is not accessed by unauthorised users.
When you register to become a Donor, you select the set of Organisations to which you want to make monthly donations. If you are located in Sweden, you can choose to donate SEK 25, SEK 35, or SEK 45 per month. If you are located within the Eurozone, you can choose to donate EUR 3, EUR 4, or EUR 5 per month. If you are located in another country, you will be able to donate the equivalent amount in your local currency. Once you have selected a range of Organisations and a monthly amount, you have entered into an agreement with Givesom (an "Agreement"). An Agreement will remain valid, and donations will automatically be made on a monthly basis, until the Agreement is terminated.
If you wish to terminate your Agreement, please contact Givesom at support@givesom.org. The Agreement will be terminated thirty days after Givesom’s receipt of your request for termination. Upon the expiry of such period, Givesom will terminate your Agreement, provided that you do not have any outstanding payments or other obligations as set out in these Terms and Conditions. You also have the right to cancel the Service if you change your mind. To exercise this right, you must notify Givesom that you wish to cancel the Service within fourteen days of entering into an Agreement. Please send an email to support@givesom.org with information that you wish to cancel the Service and clearly state your name, email address, telephone number and the date on which you entered into the Agreement. Givesom will confirm receipt of your cancellation as soon as possible. Provided that your cancellation reaches Givesom within the above stated time, Givesom will terminate your Agreement and refund your first donation. All costs arising from your cancellation, e.g. our payment service provider’s transactions fees, shall be borne by you.
Givesom has the right to terminate an Agreement with immediate effect if the Donor, in Givesom’s opinion, misuses the Service or if the Donor breaches the Terms and Conditions in a substantial way.
You are able to enter into several Agreements should you wish to donate to more than one set of Organisations.
Givesom has engaged the payment service provider Stripe for administrating donations. Making donations is easy. All you have to do is to click on “Givesom with Stripe” and fill in your credit card details and your email address. Thereafter, Stripe will make payments from your registered credit card for monthly donations to the selected set of Organisations. The first payment will be made immediately when you first register and thereafter once each month until the Agreement is terminated. The Donor is responsible for ensuring that enough funds are available on the registered credit card. Should Stripe not be able to make a payment due to lack of sufficient funds when the payment is due, Stripe will make three additional attempts during the following week. In the event Stripe has not been able to make the payment after three attempts, Givesom may terminate the Agreement without prior notice.
Givesom will hold your donations on a separate client account for ninety days before they are transferred to the Organisations. On the first business day of the month which occurs ninety days after your donation, Givesom will transfer the money to your chosen set of Organisations. Givesom holds the donations for ninety days in order to prevent frauds and to be able to refund illegal payments which may e.g. occur through a stolen credit card.
From your monthly donations, Givesom will make a deduction of 5 per cent in order to cover e.g. administration costs and costs for maintenance and development of the Service. In addition, our payment service provider Stripe will charge a transaction fee from each donation. Stripe’s transaction fee averages 2.8 per cent for transactions in SEK and 4.8 per cent for transactions in foreign currencies. Stripe’s transaction fee will never exceed 5.26 per cent.
Please note that Stripe may have its own terms and conditions which you should read before registering for the Service.
